Amazon S3 destination

This page explains how to set up an Amazon S3 destination.

Amazon S3 (Simple Storage Service) is a scalable, secure, and highly durable cloud storage solution for storing and retrieving data.

To set up an Amazon S3 destination:

1. In AWS, ensure the AWS Policy contains the statements required to perform a PutObject operation. For more information, see the AWS documentation on policies and permissions, access keys, and the PutObject operation.
2. In Axiom, create an Amazon S3 destination. For more information, see Manage destinations.
3. Configure the following:
   • Access key ID. For more information on access keys, see the Amazon documentation.
   • Secret access key. For more information on access keys, see the Amazon documentation.
   • In Region, select the bucket region. For more information on bucket properties, see the Amazon documentation.
   • In Bucket, enter the bucket name. For more information on bucket properties, see the Amazon documentation.
   • Optional: In Format, specify the format in which Axiom sends data to the destination.
